Police are hunting a masked man accused of robbing a pizza store at knifepoint on the Gold Coast overnight.
The man stormed the Cotlew Street business in Ashmore around 10.15pm, threatening staff inside with the weapon.
A Gold Coast Police spokesperson told myGC the man, who attempted to disguise himself by covering his face with a hoodie and face mask, managed to take some cash from the till before fleeing.
A 17-year-old female customer and two staff members, aged 28 and 17, were in the store at the time of the robbery.
Thankfully they all escaped uninjured.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
