A man will front court today charged over an alleged domestic violence attack in Logan that’s left a woman fighting for life.
The 36-year-old allegedly set a woman on fire using a lighter at a home in Kingston on Saturday.
The 34-year-old victim suffered burns to her body and was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.
The man has since been charged with one count each of attempted murder, common assault, and breach of domestic violence.
He’s due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today after police opposed his bail.
