A man has been rushed to hospital with significant burns following a nasty accident at a home on the Gold Coast.
The man, aged in his 40s, suffered burns to his chest, arms and face after being doused in hot oil.
It happened at a home in Molendinar just after 7.30pm on Tuesday, with emergency crews rushing to the scene.
The man was treated by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition.
