A man has suffered a leg injury after falling at a popular waterfall in the Gold Coast hinterland on Saturday.
Emergency services, including critical care paramedics and fire crews, were called to Cedar Creek Falls near Mt Tamborine just after 4.00 pm.
At the scene the Queensland Ambulance Service and the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews partner to retrieve the patient, a man in his 40s.
He was briefly assessed at the scene for a serious leg injury, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
He’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Critical care paramedics were onboard for transport.
No other injuries were reported.
