A young man has suffered life-threatening injuries after allegedly falling from the bonnet of a moving vehicle in Parkwood.
Emergency services were called to Zoeller Road just before 4pm on Saturday where they found the man lying injured on the road.
According to Queensland Police, initial investigations suggest the man had fallen from a white Nissan Navara after riding on the bonnet of the vehicle.
The 20-year-old local man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old Oxenford man, is currently assisting police with inquiries.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
