A man is fighting for life after suffering significant burns in a horror fire at a Gold Coast petrol station.
Emergency services were called to the servo on Brisbane Road in Labrador around 11.40pm on Monday, following reports a white Holden Commodore had erupted into flames at the bowser.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, which caused damage to the vehicle and two fuel pumps.
The driver of the Commodore, a 60-year-old man, suffered life-threatening burns and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
