A house party in Surfers Paradise has come to a violent end after a brawl broke out between two men.
Police were called to a property on Paradise Island around 10.15pm on Tuesday, following reports of a fight between people known to each other at a party.
Upon arrival, they found a man with head and facial injuries.
He was assessed by paramedics, before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
Police have confirmed that at this stage no formal complaint has been made.
