Man stabbed in street in broad daylight on the Gold Coast

Police are investigating after a man was allegedly stabbed along a Palm Beach street, following a nasty dispute.

Emergency crews were called to Leyte Street around midday, after the alleged stab victim called triple-zero for help.

The man is believed to have gotten into a dispute with another man on the street, before being stabbed in the forearm “with an unknown implement”.

Police say the alleged attacker then fled in a 4WD and remains at large.

A QAS spokesperson confirmed they are currently on scene treating the man for injuries to his arm and foot.
