A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after crashing his motorbike into a pole in Gilston.
The man, whose age is unknown, suffered significant leg injuries when he ploughed into the pole on the corner of Gilston Road and Peter Mills Drive just after 3pm today.
Paramedics, including High Acuity and Critical Care, rushed to the scene to treat the man.
He’s been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
It comes just 24 hours after a 60-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a horror crash on the m1 yesterday.
