A man remains in a serious condition in hospital after crashing his motorcycle in Southport.
A black Kawasaki collided with an MG hatchback on Cotlew St around 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The 58-year-old male rider of the motorbike sustained serious head injuries in the crash and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The 45-year-old female driver of the MG was uninjured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the accident.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the accident to come forward.
