A man has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being kicked by a horse on the Gold Coast.
Emergency crews rushed to Ken Russell Court in Bundall around 7am on Thursday following reports a rider had been seriously injured.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 20s with “potentially life-threatening chest injuries”.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
