A late-night brawl outside a popular Surfers Paradise club has hospitalised a man.
An alleged fight broke out between a group of men on the streets of Elkhorn Avenue outside the Cali Beach Club around 10.30 last night.
Early police investigations indicate two men were evicted from the premises due to behaviour and an “altercation” has occurred with security guards.
A 29-year-old man was located lying in the street unconscious when police arrived.
Paramedics transported one man suffering facial injuries to Gold Coast Uni Hospital in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man from Camp Hill has been charged with commit public nuisance licensed premises or in the vicinity of licensed premises.
He’s due to front Southport Court on October 21.
He has also been issued a banning order for the Safe Night Precincts.
Police investigations are continuing into the incident.
