A man has died and a woman has been injured after a car lost control in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The vehicle was travelling along Williamson Road near Waterford Tamborine Road around 6pm on Sunday, when it left the road and slammed into a pole.
The passenger, a 41-year-old man, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver, a 24-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
They’re appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam vision from the area at that time, to come forward.
