A man is in hospital and a second man is in custody after an alleged wounding in Burleigh Heads.
Emergency services were called to Goodwin Terrace at around 5.40am on Monday.
A man in his 40s was found with injuries to his head and hands.
He has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The second man in his 30s was arrested a short time later.
A Police spokesperson says investigations are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact them.
