Man injured after car ploughs into back of crane on M1

Emergency crews are on the scene of an early morning crash on the Pacific Motorway at Burleigh.

A vehicle has ploughed into the back of a crane in the northbound lanes of the M1 just after Exit 87.

The accident occurred just before 5.30am, however, thankfully it’s not causing too much drama for motorists.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed one man is being assessed by paramedics.

Police are also on scene.
