A young man has been hospitalised after being hit by a car on the Gold Coast overnight.
The man, aged in his 20s, was struck along the busy Brisbane Road in Arundel just before 8pm on Tuesday.
He suffered a significant head injury and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed he was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
