A man has been hospitalised after being mauled by a dog in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Paramedics were called to a home in Canungra around 8.15pm on Wednesday following reports of the attack.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 50s suffering significant wounds to his hand and leg.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
