A man has been taken to hospital after he was pulled from a rip at a popular Gold Coast beach this afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the sand at Main Beach around 2.15 pm following reports someone had gotten in trouble in the water.
They assessed a man in his 20s briefly at the scene before taking him to hospital for further treatment.
He’s understood to be in a stable condition but his injuries are not yet known.
No other injuries were reported.
