Three people have been injured in a collision coming off the M1 on the Gold Coast, including one with life-threatening injuries.
Two cars crashed at the Nerang south off-ramp with Spencer Road just before 1.30pm, with several emergency crews rushing to the scene.
Firefighters rescued one man who had become pinned inside his vehicle.
He suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital with the high-acuity response team on-baord.
Two other people sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
