A man has been charged over a wild altercation on the Gold Coast that hospitalised four people.
Police were called to Seaworld Drive in Main Beach shortly after 9pm on Saturday night, with reports of a fight involving a large group of people.
Paramedics assessed “several” at the scene for injuries, and took four to hospital.
They were suffering minor injuries including head injuries, neck pain, cuts and abrasions and transported in stable conditions to Gold Coast University Hospital.
A 24-year-old Ashmore man was arrested at the scene by police.
He has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and is expected to front at Southport Magistrates Court on April 3
