A man has been busted allegedly drink-driving after crashing down an embankment in Gilston.
Emergency crews were called to Gilston Road around 9.30pm on Thursday following reports of a serious crash.
Upon arrival, they found a vehicle had plunged down an embankment.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, was subjected to a roadside breath test at the scene which returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to the local police station where he allegedly blew 0.081.
The Pacific Pines man has since been charged with drink-driving.
He’ll front Southport Magistrates Court on July 4.
