A man has been injured after allegedly being beaten with a milk crate after an argument turned violent on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood two men, aged 27 and 29, were walking together along Surfers Paradise Boulevard around 3.30am this morning when they entered a convenience store.
Once inside, the pair allegedly got into a verbal altercation with each other, which quickly escalated.
During the scuffle, the 29-year-old man allegedly picked up a milk crate and began attacking the younger man with it.
The victim suffered a number of injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
The other man was arrested at the scene, but no charges have been laid at this stage.
Investigations are ongoing.
