A man has been taken into custody following a nasty crash in Nerang early Sunday morning.
A vehicle lost control at the intersection of Beaudesert-Nerang Road and Price Street just after 5am.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the car smashed into a traffic light, knocking it across the intersection.
The man allegedly behind the wheel was arrested at the scene by officers and taken back to the local police station.
Charges are yet to be laid as investigations continue.
