A man has been found dead in the backyard of a Logan home following an alleged domestic violence attack.
Police were called to the Redwood Street property at Marsden around 1am on Tuesday following reports of a serious assault.
Upon arrival, they found the body of a 67-year-old man in the backyard.
A 30-year-old man, believed to be the victim’s son, was arrested at the scene.
Police say a 60-year-old Marsden woman was also located at the property but was not physically injured.
“The three people are believed to be known to each other,” Queensland Police said.
A crime scene has been declared while officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
