Motorists are warned of a nightmare run on the M1 heading south this afternoon.
A truck and car crashed at Helensvale around 2.20pm, with one person injured.
It’s caused lengthy delays all the way back to Yatala.

A woman in her 40s has suffered minor injuries in the smash.
She’s been taken to the Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.
Traffic is fairly clear from Helensvale onwards until you hit the usual Reedy Creek roadwork delays.
