Hundreds of jobs are up for grabs as a new luxury hotel prepares to open its doors on the Gold Coast.
The Langham in Surfers Paradise is searching for up to 100 staff members to work in their beachfront hotel located inside the Jewel Towers.
Individuals keen to work in guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, conference and events, kitchen and concierge services are all encouraged to apply.
General Manager John O’Shea says they’re searching for people who will help maintain the “iconic level of luxury and indulgence” of The Langham hotels.
“We are now on the hunt for talented team members that can inject their own magic touch of indulgence and become a face that both locals and tourists will come to know and love,” Mr O’Shea says.
“The coming weeks will be full of excitement and preparation as we bring this new wave of luxury to the Gold Coast, and we can’t wait to have a new team of specialists to join us on this journey.”
The hotel is also searching for ‘Service Stylists’ to work on elevating guest stays including preparing gifts and providing recommendations.
The Langham’s HR Director Briony Low says the opportunities come at a perfect time for the hospitality industry, and will come with a string of benefits.
“We understand first-hand the challenges the entire industry has faced over the past two years,” Ms Low says.
“We’ll be providing our new team members with more than just a job.”
They say employees will receive international complimentary stays, additional leave days, and mental health days.
