Firefighters have had to use the jaws of life to free a teenage girl stuck in a baby swing on the Gold Coast.

The teen became trapped in the swing at Pacific Pines Central Park around 1.30pm on Thursday.

It sparked a unique rescue operation involving Queensland Fire and Emergency Services who eventually managed to free the young woman.

Paramedics were also called to the scene to assess the teen after her ordeal.

Thankfully she managed to escape uninjured, apart from a bruised ego.
