Investigations are continuing into a ferocious blaze that destroyed a home at Upper Coomera.

The two-storey home Stanfield Dr burst into flames around 9.40pm on Saturday night.

It took 18 firefighters more than an hour and half to bring the monster blaze under control.

A family of four managed to escape without injury while the family’s pets were also saved.

“It’s a serious incident, the house has been destroyed,” Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon told the ABC.

We don’t think the fire is suspicious but the key for us is everyone got out safe and that’s the main thing.
