Motorists are being warned of lengthy delays on the northern Gold Coast this morning following a collision between a car and motorbike on the M1.
The vehicles collided southbound near Exit 49 at Pimpama around 8.00am.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s, suffered chest injuries in the crash.
He’s currently being treated at the scene by paramedics, with his condition unknown at this stage.
The driver of the car managed to escape physical injury.
Southbound traffic in the area is currently at a standstill, with authorities warning drivers to expect delays.
