Gym-goers are being warned following a string of vehicle thefts across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Two cars were stolen from two separate gyms on the Gold Coast yesterday after thieves nabbed the keys from storage lockers.
Meanwhile, the same incident occurred at a third gym in North Brisbane on April 2.
Police say a set of car keys was stolen from a communal locker area gym on Southport Nerang Road, Molendinar yesterday morning.
The keys were then used to steal a white 2002 Toyota Camry from the carpark, belonging to a 60-year-old man.
Later in the day, another set of car keys was nabbed from a storage locker at a gym on Coomera Grand Drive, Coomera.
A grey 2015 Mazda CX-5 belonging to a 26-year-old man was subsequently stolen from the carpark.
It comes after a white 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer belonging to a 22-year-old man was stolen from a North Brisbane gym on Saturday, April 2.
All three cars have since been sighted in the Moreton area.
Gym-goers are being urged to always ensure their keys, mobile phones, handbags and wallets are stored out of sight and in a locked, secure area when at the gym.
Investigations into all three matters continue.
