A Gold Coast man has been tracked down and charged over two alleged armed robberies in South Brisbane.
The 28-year-old from Labrador is accused of holding up a pub on Gosport Street at Hemmant around 7pm on December 12.
The man allegedly pulled out a firearm and threatened an employee while demanding cash.
He managed to get away with a quantity of cash, before targeting a second pub on Wynnum Road at Tingalpa a few days later on December 17.
The man is accused of storming the licenced premises around 1am, threatening the cashier with a firearm.
Police say the employee attempted to retrieve cash, however, was unable to comply, with the man fleeing the scene in a silver hatchback.
The man has since been charged with 13 offences, including armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and possession of a weapon.
He is due to appear before Wynnum Magistrates Court today.
