Grave fears are held for a man after his car crashed into waters in the Gold Coast hinterland this afternoon.
The vehicle was found plunged in a creek in Mundoolun, just west of Tamborine Mountain, around 12.45pm.
Multiple emergency crews, including police divers, were called to the crash on the corner of Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road and Tremayne Road.
It’s understood Paramedics treated a man in his 60s with critical injuries.
A Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed the Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
