A Gold Coast woman has been airlifted to hospital following a serious buggy crash on Hamilton Island.
The buggy crashed around 1.30am today, with a driver and four passengers on board.
The 21-year-old Willow Vale woman suffered serious facial injuries after reportedly striking her head on the ground.
She’s been airlifted to Mackay Hospital.
The driver, an 18-year-old Sunshine Coast woman, received minor injuries along with three male passengers.
Police are investigating.
