A young woman has had her licence suspended after allegedly crashing her Tesla in Surfers Paradise overnight.
The 21-year-old is accused of losing control along the Gold Coast Highway and Admiralty Drive around 10pm, crashing into another vehicle.
Fortunately no one was injured in the collision.
The woman, from Coomera, allegedly blew 0.225, which is more than four times the legal alcohol limit.
She was issued with a notice to appear for drink driving and drive without due care and attention.
Her licence has also been suspended.
The woman is expected to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on June 28.
