From rides and showbags, to fireworks and camel rides, there will be something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Gold Coast Show.
The family-fun event will be making a return to Broadwater Parklands from August 26 to 28, and will be free to attend once again.
Gold Coast Show Society President Josephine Tobias told myGC said it will be exciting to deliver the 115th Gold Coast Show to the community.
“Last year was fantastic, this year it’s going to be extraordinary. Everything is back and it’s going to be bigger,” she said.
“We have all the rides back, and the Showmen’s Guild tell us it’s going to be mega, mega big. Showbags are back too, and we will have the Elvis showbag launching here at the show.
“Entries for the arts and crafts are now open and we have a fabulous judge this year. Show-jumping will be on the Friday, Wood-chopping on the Saturday, Show dogs also on Saturday, as well as a whole bevy of entertainment right across the weekend.”
Deputy Mayor Donna Gates said there is so much for every family to do at the show this year.
“Side Show Alley will be bigger than ever before, the camel rides on the beach will be spectacular, there will be whip cracking and just so much fun for children,” she told myGC.
