A motorcyclist is fighting for life after colliding with a truck in Helensvale this morning.
Emergency crews were called to Millaroo Drive around 5.40am, following reports of a serious crash.
Upon arrival, they found the rider of a motorbike suffering “life-threatening significant head injuries”.
The motorcyclist is currently being treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area, with significant delays currently being experienced.
“Millaroo Drive between Town Centre Drive and Habana Street is closed in both directions while emergency services respond to a serious traffic crash,” Queensland Police said.
“Motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect significant delays”.
