Police have launched an investigation into a nasty crash on the northern Gold Coast overnight.
Three vehicles collided along Azure Way in Coomera around 5.30pm.
Fortunately no one was seriously hurt, however, one person did need to be taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The occupants of one of the vehicles allegedly ditched the car and did a runner before emergency crews arrived on scene.
A search is now underway for those involved, with police also investigating whether that vehicle may have been stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
