A Gold Coast man has died after his motorbike collided with a motorhome in Logan.
The 71-year-old was riding northeast along Beaudesert Nerang Road around 2pm on July 10, when his Honda ST1300 motorcycle collided with a Winnebago RV motorhome travelling southwest
The Highland Park man suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where police confirmed he sadly died on Saturday, August 10.
The driver of the motorhome managed to escape uninjured.
The Forensic Crash Unit has now launched an investigation into the fatal accident and is appealing for a group of other motorcyclists believed to have been travelling with the rider at the time to come forward.
They’re also appealing for anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage.
Investigations are ongoing.
