Gold Coast M1 delays as man, children hospitalised in nasty crash

A man and two children have been hospitalised following a nasty two-car collision on the M1 Gold Coast.

The crash happened southbound near exit 54 Coomera just after 10am.

A man in his 30s suffered leg and arm injuries, while a young girl and boy also sustained minor injuries.

They’ve been taken to Gold Coast University hospital, thankfully all in a stable condition.

Motorists are warned of some lengthy delays currently back to Ormeau.

Traffic build-up is also affecting the Old Pacific Highway southbound through Coomera.
