A trough and associated southerly change that’s lingering over the southeast will strengthen today as an upper trough crosses the southeast.
That’s tipped to lead to widespread storm action throughout Tuesday afternoon.
While forecasts believe areas north of Brisbane will likely cop the brunt of any severe storm activity, there is the chance of cells hitting the Gold Coast.
