A woman has been injured after a go kart crashed into a car on the Gold Coast last night.
Emergency services were called to Brisbane Road in Biggera Waters around 7.00 pm following reports of the bizarre incident.
It’s understood the go-cart collided with a stationary vehicle along the road.
It caused the driver, a woman in her 20s, to suffer multiple lower limb injuries.
She was briefly assessed at the scene by paramedics before being taking to hospital for further treatment.
She’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The exact circumstances around the crash are not yet known.
No other injuries were reported.
