Health officials have confirmed two new cases of measles on the Gold Coast, issuing an alert for several popular locations across the city.
The two new cases include a school-aged child who had recently returned from overseas.
The second is an adult who had been visiting the Gold Coast from Sydney.
Neither case is linked to another case that was confirmed in the Tweed that had also visited the southern Gold Coast.
The pair separately visited numerous places in the city between Monday, February 5 and Monday, February 12 including Sea World, Pacific Fair, Burleigh Pavilion and the airport.
While there is no ongoing threat at any of these locations listed below, anyone who was there at the same time is being urged to monitor for symptoms.
Symptoms include fever, runny nose, sore eyes, cough, and red, blotchy rash and can take between seven and 18 days to appear.
