A group of teenagers are in custody after going on a wild joyride in a stolen car on the Gold Coast.
The teens are accused of stealing a Mercedes from a car park in Broadbeach on Tuesday afternoon before taking it on a joyride across the city.
PolAir tracked the vehicle from above as it headed north on the Pacific Motorway to Labrador, where the car came to a stop.
The teens then tried to make a run for it, but officers were hot on their heels and managed to round them up quickly.
Four boys, aged between 12 and 16, were arrested and have since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A fifth teen remains on the run after managing to get away in the vehicle, which was later found dumped in Molendinar.
Investigations are ongoing.
