Four men have been charged over a wild brawl in the heart of Surfers Paradise over the weekend.
Police were called to Cavill Avenue around 3.05am on Sunday following reports of a group of men fighting.
Upon arrival, officers located five men, with three of them requiring treatment for various injuries.
An 18-year-old Helensvale man suffered a serious injury to his ear and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Following investigations, an 18-year-old man from Warner was given a notice to appear in Southport Magistrates Court for grievous bodily harm.
Three other men aged 18, 19 and 20, all from New South Wales, have been charged with affray.
They’re due to face Southport Magistrates Court on November 20.
