An area on the Gold Coast’s Broadwater has been set up for anyone wanting to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Gold Coast’s horrific helicopter tragedy.
Anyone wishing to place floral tributes are encouraged to do so at an allocated area at the Broadwater Parklands.
It’s located just south of the Southport Pier, near the Great Lawn.
The Department of Communities and Red Cross will be on site throughout the day to provide support.
The City of Gold Coast has also activated The Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349.
Anyone wishing to place flowers directly into the Broadwater is asked to remove all packaging.
