A fisherman has had a lucky escape after being pinned underneath his boat when it capsized off Palm Beach.
The man was fishing with a friend when the boat flipped around 6.20am.
It’s understood he became stuck underneath before reportedly being rescued by a member of the public.
Paramedics attended the scene and assessed both fishermen who are aged in their 60s.
One of them was taken to Robina Hospital in a stable condition.
The other man did not require hospitalisation.
