Firefighters battle southern Gold Coast home engulfed in flames

A number of fire crews are battling a large house fire in Currumbin Valley.

The blaze erupted at a property along Currumbin Creek Road just after 10am this morning.

The home is understood to be “well-involved” with flames.

There are currently seven fire crews on scene working to douse the flames.

Queensland Ambulance is also on standby at the property, it’s understood there are thankfully no patients reported in the home.
