Fire crews have managed to extinguish a blaze in an Upper Coomera coffee shop, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring businesses.
The fire broke out in the back office area of the Zarraffa’s on the corner of Days Rd and Old Coach Rd just after 12.30am.
Four QFES crews attended the scene and contained the fire to the back room before quickly extinguishing the blaze.
Initial investigations indicate the fire was sparked by a heating element in a fridge.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
The coffee shop was closed at the time and no other businesses were impacted.
