Fire breaks out in Gold Coast home

Firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze that broke out in a Gold Coast home this morning.

It’s believed the fire started in the garage of the home on Amsonia Court around 6.30am.

By the time crews arrived the garage was fully engulfed in flames.

Two fire crews had to force their way in to extinguish the blaze.

Queensland Ambulance were also called but say nobody needed to be treated by paramedics.

Fire investigators will be heading to the scene later today.
