An elderly woman has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a dog on the Gold Coast overnight.
Emergency crews were called to a home in Carrara just before 7.00pm, following reports a woman had been attacked by a dog.
Upon arrival, they found the woman suffering a significant facial injury.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
